1.Welcome text.JPG

Christu Jyothi Province was formed the Jayamatha Province, Pala on September 18, 1995. Mar Vijayand Nedumpuram CMI, the then Bishop of Chanda Diocese inaugurated the province by the Holy Eucharistic celebration followed by lighting of the lamp at Provincial House Mancherial, Andhra

Pradesh. Mother Benecacia, the then Superior General, Mother Rosaritta, the then Provincial Suyperior Pala province, and Sr.Leontia (Pala) and a good number of sisters and priests representing other congregations from Chanda diocese. Eluru Diocese, and Warangal Diocese participated in the Holy Eucharistic celebration. The mission which was spread in Andhra Pradesh and Jagdalpur areas were amalgamated and the General Chapter of 1995 raised it to the status of the new Christu Jyothi Province. Mother Dominic was lected as the first Provincial of the newly formed province and Sr. Alfrida, Sr. Mary Joseph, Sr. Roselit, and Sr. Tresa Basil were elected as councilors. The inspiring words of Mother Rosaritta on this occasion sparkled, a new missionary commitment to

rededicate themselves for the cause of the Gospel in Andhra Pradesh. The Lord brought us to this land to bring out an abundance of fruits for his kingdom through the diffrent apostolic activities entrusted to us. permeating his messag. The Jagadalpur Mission got separaded from Christu Jyothi Province Mancherial on May 26, 1998 as it was raised to the status of a Region in the general synaxis of 1997. The reason behind this was diffrent languages like Hindi and Telugu as well asthe distance between the two regions. Flipping into the years gone by we can only stand and marvel at how God has opened his heavenly treasuries to bless his daughtetrs. In his time he had chosen apt and liable shepherds to lead his little flock to the god and plentiful pastures. When we flashback into the history of Christu Jyothi Province, so far 9 synaxes had in his dream authentic and zealous spirit-filled leaders like Mother Dominic (1995 - 200), Mother Rosula (2000 - 2006), Mother Phinia (2006 - 2012 ), Mother Roselit (2012 - 2018) as the provincial superiors who could shoulder the responsibility effectively and nurture the growth of Christu Jyothi to the present stage. The time rolls on....Now we render our service in the dioceses of Adiladad, Eluru, Hyderadad, Warangal, and Pala 10% of our sisters are engaged in faith formation and the others are in the field of Education, Healing ministry, HIV/AIDS care and support. Palliative care, Social service, etc..... June 7, 2018, was a day of celebration as the long-cherished dream of an administrative block and beautiful chapel had come true. God has fifilled his plan through the hands of Sr. Roselit Maria, the then Provincial and team, who could achives it through the prudent and prayerful steps and intiatives boldly taken for Christu Jyothi. It was blessed by Mar Prince Anotony, Bishop of Adiladad, and Emeritus Bp. Joseph Kunnath CMI.
